Weavers, bacon und gingerbread dreams in the Mühlviertel
- Lebzeltarium
- visit of the Speckwerkstatt Haudum
Weaving has a long tradition in the Mühlviertel. The heyday of this trade comes alive in the Weaving Museum Haslach. Flax oil is also closely linked to the production of linen. It´s a real Mühlviertel specialty, produced in the Haslach oil mil. In the immediate vicinity is Helfenberg, one of the Mühlviertel´s strongholds. Here you can let the products of the Speckwerkstatt Haudum melt your tongue. The sweet finish is in Bad Leonfelden. The traditional company Kastner makes its popular gingerbread here and will take you to its new adventure world Lebzeltarium.
