Even in winter, the Salzkammergut has its charm. Away from the hustle and bustle of the slopes, you can let your soul dangle while admiring the snowy landscape and breathtaking panoramas.
Warmly wrapped in blankets, embark on a journey of discovery through the Kaiserstadt on a carriage ride. The carriage takes you to Ischler´s most beautiful monuments and squares, offering you a nostalgic view of the Kaiserstadt. Afterwards, you can enjoy an imperial coffee at the K&K Konditorei Zauner.
The next day we go to the ceramics town of Gmunden, located at the nothern end of Lake Traun. Gmunden is one of the most beautiful places in Austria: Stylish streets and squares with old town houses and villas, a dreamy lakeside esplanade, pretty shops and a magnificent location make the resort a real treasure trove. Enjoy the impressions and learn about Gmunden on this guided tour.
Picturesquely situated on a tiny island in Lake Traun, Schloss Orth owes much of its frame to a German-Austrian television series: for eight years, from 1996 to 2004, people lived, loved and married in the "Schlosshotel Orth". To this day, the series is a strong audience magnet and attracts many visitors to SeeSchloss Orth every year.
