Idyllic winter hikes through snow-covered forests allow you to take a deep breath. Once you have experienced the magic of a snow-covered winter landscape, you won't want to miss it again.

Holzknechtnocken in a rustic inn in Bad Ischl / surrounding area -A typical meal of our region - it used to be prepared in the lumberjacks' woodcabins prepared by lumberjacks - they are available in sour and sweet versions, with sauerkraut or apple sauce

admission 4 hours indoor pool & sauna in the Wellness Alm at Lake Wolfgangsee -enjoy the cosiness of a rustic alpine hut and the comfort of a modern wellness facility wellness centre on around 3000 m². Large selection of different indoor & outdoor pools, spacious sauna area with various themed saunas, brine steam bath, plunge pool, ice grotto and numerous relaxation rooms to relax and switch off.

Hike through the Blinklingmoos in Strobl
approx. 4 km, duration approx. 1.5 hours - no elevation gain
On the old route of the Wolfgangsee local railroad, you walk through the Blinklingmoos nature reserve to Wassbad. Along the way, you will pass an observation tower, which offers a fantastic view over the snow-covered moor to Lake Wolfgangsee. The route leads back to the center of Strobl along the footpath close to Lake Wolfgangsee.
Hike around the Offensee in Ebensee
approx. 5 km, duration approx. 1.5 hours - no elevation gain
The mountain flanks of the Totes Gebirge are reflected in its waters. The detour from the Traun valley up to the Offensee is particularly worthwhile in winter. The snow then has the mountain valley fully under control and the mountain forests are bathed in a sea of white. Dressed warmly, the walk around the lake becomes a nature experience where the mountain winter reveals itself in its purest form. An ideal excursion destination for anyone who has always wanted to know how intense the snowy air in the mountains really smells.
