The Salzkammergut from its most beautiful sides
- including a cozy hut evening
Discover the Katrin, Ischl's local mountain, hike along the eastern shore of Lake Hallstatt, through the Blinklingmoos, one of the most beautiful moors in Austria and on the beautiful Bürglstein Panoramaweg in Strobl and around the Langbathseen near Ebensee, two real natural jewels.
The Salzkammergut offers a variety of options for walking paths and easy hikes, which do not have any significant vertical meters and are therefore too easy to master. Take your time and sit down on a bench. Enjoy the fresh air. Consider beautiful view.
In between, a boat trip on Lake Traun, a visit to an imperial summer residence and a visit to various traditional businesses round off the program. The perfect combination of gentle hiking & sightseeing!

Our tip for the day of departure: hike around the Langbathseen.
From the center of Ebensee it is about 7 km in the direction of the Langbathseen.
The Vorderer and Hinterer Langbathsee are beautifully situated alpine lakes that invite you to take a wonderful hike around them. From the Vorderer Langbathsee car park, walk along the right bank of the lake and at the end of the lake you can choose whether you turn left and thus only walk around the Vorderer Langbathsee (walking time approx. 1 hour) or continue to the Hinterer Langbathsee, which you can reach after another approx .Reach 30 minutes. On the way to the Hinterer Langbathsee you overcome a step in the terrain on the ascending forest road. The lake, in which the surrounding mountains of the Höllengebirge are reflected, offers an impressive motif. After a loop around the Hinterer Langbathsee you hike back on the forest road to the Vorderer Langbathsee.
Walking time: Around the Vorderen Langbathsee approx. 1 hour
From the front to the rear Langbathsee and back approx. 2 hours
Around both Langbathseen approx. 2.5 hours
