The pearls of Styria
- Visit of the old town of Graz
- Tours and visits of a pumpkin seed oil mill, the Riegersburg castle, Zotter Chocolat and others
The federal state in the south is very fertile and produces luxury goods of great variety and quality. The landscape characterized by grapevines is also called Styrian Tuscany.
Austria's second largest city Graz impresses with its charm, the partly winding old town and its very photogenic landmark - the clock tower. Contemporary wine-growing architecture next to beautifully revitalized building culture characterize the landscape along the wine routes with taverns that provide regional wines and products for your physical well-being.
Experience the magic of the historic, 850-year-old Riegersburg. It was built on the rocks of a volcanic mountain and could never be conquered. You can get up close and personal with the home of the white horses at the Piber stud farm, where the famous Lipizzaners are bred for the Spanish Riding School in Vienna. Impressive taste experiences are offered with fine brandies, vinegars and the well-known Zotter chocolate.
The former duchy, today's Slovenia, should not remain undiscovered.
