The local tax, also known as visitor's tax, is payable locally to the landlord; the amount depends on the resort and is between 1,00€ and 4,00€ per person per night. Children up to the age of 15 are usually exempt.

Serfaus:
Exceptional, unique and family-friendly - the three mountain villages of Serfaus, Fiss and Ladis in the upper Tyrolean Inntal valley are a worthwhile holiday destination at any time of year. Especially in summer, you can experience countless hours of sunshine, a magnificent panorama and wonderful moments of pleasure.
The Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis region has a unique "gondola" network, the 11 mountain lifts take you up to the desired altitude from where you can enjoy comfortable hikes and walks along the hiking and themed trails.
Fusch:
The small holiday resort of Fusch is known for its scenic diversity, its numerous green meadows and fields and countless hiking trails. Situated in the heart of the Hohe Tauern National Park, the cosy village is surrounded by several 3000m peaks. Fusch is also the starting point of the world-famous Grossglockner High Alpine Road. The views of the Hohe Tauern mountains are spectacular. The absolute highlight of the road is the Kaiser-Franz-Josef-Höhe. Here you come within touching distance of the Großglockner, Austria's highest mountain at 3,798 metres.
Gosau:
Gosau is a real natural jewel in the Dachstein Salzkammergut. The Gosau Valley stretches for 14 kilometres to Lake Gosau. From Lake Gosau you can see the Dachstein glacier. A highlight of Gosau is the Gosaukammbahn cable car. The cable car takes you to the Zwieselam in just a few minutes. From there you have an impressive view of the Dachstein.
