Operetta Summer - Lehár Festival in Bad Ischl

In the charming imperial city of Bad Ischl, where Franz Lehár wrote his timeless works, the light cheerfulness of operetta is still in the air. For more than sixty years, operetta has been played here at the traditional festival with quality and momentum. The Lehár Festival Bad Ischl is the largest and oldest operetta festival in Europe and every year pampers its guests with performances of operettas by different composers in the beautiful Congress and Theater House in the middle of the Kurpark.

GROUP ARRANGEMENTS are gladly put together e.g.

• Coffee & Cake in Bad Ischl: from approx. € 11,-- p.P.
• 3course. Dinner before or after the operetta: from about € 25,-- p.P.
• Horse-drawn carriage ride through Bad Ischl, duration approx. 30 Min.: from approx € 10,-- p.P.
• Entrance and guided tour in the Lehárvilla Bad Ischl: from approx. € 14,-- p.P.

Support for tour guides and bus drivers daily from 8.00 to 18.00 by our office in Bad Ischl

Evening performances: 7:30 p.m.
Afternoon shows: 3.30 p.m.
Duration of the events: 2,5 hours each incl. break

Additional bookable services:
Introduction to the play with the Intendant (Flat Rate €90,--)
(according to the director´s availabitlity - first come, first serve principle)
OR
1 glass of sparkling wine – Kongresshaus offers this for approx. € 7,- per person
OR
approx. 30 Min. walk through Bad Ischl with reference to the places of work of various artists
from/to Congress House in the Kurpark (Lump sum approx. € 140,--)

For special theatre groups a backstage tour is possible - usually 2 hours before the performance

Conditions for the purchase of tickets:
Groups are from 20 people.
20% discount:
When booking 2 different plays, within one trip, excluding the performances on Friday and Saturday as well as tickets in category 6 and to premieres.

10 % discount:
When booking 1 piece, excluding the performances on Friday and Saturday and tickets in category 6 and to the premieres.

20% discount on a 2. Piece, auf ein 2. Stück, within one trip, during the week:
When booking 1 piece on a Friday/ Saturday and a 2nd during the week, a 20% discount on the piece during the week will be granted.

Settlement:
Eight weeks to go: 1. Sales Overview
The rest of the contigent will be voted.
These tickets (of the other contingent) can be returned free of charge up to 1 month before the appointment.

Payment:
Up to 1 month before appointment by bank transfer. After that, no card withdrawl is possible!
More tickets for the event will be available upon availability.

Free tickets:
Generally for the bus drivers - no matter how big the group is (will always be a marginal place so the driver can leave the hall early).

An additional free ticket for the guide can be issued as required or upon request.

The organizer reserves the right to call up the ticket quota earlier than 8 weeks before the date in case of a fully booked event.

Accessibility:
At each performance at the Congress & Theaterhouse, wheelchair seats are available (free).

For hearing aid wearers, so-called induction slings are available as a free service. This method requires a hearing aid with a T-coil, which must be activated by the hearing aid audiologist for this purpose.
