Ebensee: 443m above sea level, 7 456 inhabitants; Gmunden 17km, Bad Ischl 18km. The Feuerkogel ski area is 1,3 km away, the Dachstein West and Krippenstein ski areas are approx. 45km away.

Location: In the heart of the Salzkammergut, right on the southern shore of Lake Traunsee, lies the 3-star-superior Landhotel Post in Ebensee. Here, against the breathtaking backdrop of the mountains and lakes, the perfect peaceful holiday experience awaits hotel guests. Ebensee Landungsplatz railway station is approx. 200m away. The indoor swimming pool is approx. 100m away, the Museum of Contemporary History approx. 250m and Lake Traunsee approx. 300m.
Facilities: Guests stay in 3-star-superior comfort at the Landhotel Post. Cosiness is very important here. The cosy rooms, suites and family flats are furnished to a high standard and invite you to stay. The varied cuisine deserves praise. The food on offer ranges from home-style cooking to dishes made from natural ingredients and hearty dishes, as well as regional and international specialities. A lift and sufficient parking spaces are available. The restaurant can be reached via a covered entrance from the hotel and offers a beautiful guest garden.
The hotel has been awarded the Austrian eco-label and the EU Ecolabel. The hotel is also planning to use sustainable electricity from solar panels and to build a hydroelectric power station.
Wellness: A wellness area with bio-sauna, infrared cabin and relaxation room is available.
Rooms: The rooms and suites have a WC and bath/shower, large LCD TV with digital HD, telephone, high-speed WLAN and some have a balcony or terrace. The completely barrier-free hotel also has 3 specially wheelchair-accessible rooms. These are very spacious and have a wheelchair-accessible shower and grab rails by the WC.
