Gosau: 780m above sea level, 2 000 inhabitants, Gosau slow train, ascent with the Gosaukammbahn to the Zwieselalm from mid-May to the end of October. Easy family hiking trails around Lake Gosau or to the natural jewel Löckermoos, as well as challenging alpine tours - e.g. around the Gosaukamm. Mountain bike trail network, swimming in Lake Gosau (4km), water and adventure park in Russbach (6km). World heritage site Hallstatt 15km, Dachstein cave world in Obertraun (giant ice cave + mammoth cave) 22km, Salzburg 65km.

Location: The traditional Gasthof Kirchenwirt lies directly next to the church of the town Gosau. The center with shopping possibilities is approx. 500m away. The bus station for the busses to Hallstatt or the lake Gosausee is approx. 200m away.

Facilities: The hotel offers reception, cozy parlors, restaurant (where breakfast and dinner is served), parlor with tile stove, bar, safe, children’s playroom, garden, sun terrace, free WIFI in the whole house and free parking lots.
