Information about the region
Ebensee: 443m above sea level, 7 933 inhabitants; Gmunden 17km, Bad Ischl 18km. The Feuerkogel ski area is 1,3 km away, the Dachstein West and Krippenstein ski areas are approx. 45km away.
Feuerkogel family ski area: The Feuerkogel, Upper Austria's most beautiful high plateau, invites you to an unforgettable snow experience in the heart of the Salzkammergut with modern lifts, family-friendly slopes, modern snowmaking, a fantastic 360 degree panoramic view of Dachstein and the lake region, cozy huts and many sports opportunities! But not only ski beginners will find the best conditions at Feuerkogel, there are also challenging slopes and exciting descents for ski professionals. The 6 km long and unprepared ski version into the valley is a particular challenge for experienced skiers.
Information about the accommodation
Location: In the middle of the Salzkammergut region, next to the south shore of lake Traunsee, the 3-star hotel is situated. The train station is approx. 200m distance. Public indoor pool approx. 100m, museum approx. 250m and lake Traunsee approx. 300m distance.
Facilities: The rooms are furbished cozy and elegant style, suites and family apartments invite for a longer stay. Kitchen: The menu varies from traditional Austrian cuisine to modern healthy food and special diets. Lift and parking lot for free. The restaurant with its gastgarden is accessible from the hotel via covered entrance. The hotel has been awarded the Austrian environmental seal and the EU Ecolabel. Furthermore, the hotel plans to expand the use of sustainable electricity through solar systems and the construction of a hydroelectric power station.
Children: Children's playroom and toddler equipment available.
Wellness: With bio sauna, infrared cabin and relax area available.
Rooms: Rooms and suites are equipped with WC and bath/shower, big LCD and HD flat screen, telephone, high speed WIFI partly balcony or terrace. Some rooms can offer extra beds.
The hotel is completely barrier free, and 3 rooms offer special wheelchair facilities.
