In many places, a farm festival is one of the highlights in autumn. Experience tradition, music and dance in a rural ambience, as well as various stands with handicrafts and hearty snacks.
Gut Aiderbichl in Henndorf is about 20 km east of Salzburg, in the middle of an untouched landscape. It is Europe's largest animal paradise for rescued animals and a meeting place for humans and animals. It is intended to serve as a sanctuary for animals that found themselves in a hopeless situation. The estate is a sanctuary of a special kind, which is intended to encourage people to think and rethink on the basis of rescued animals. The animals are exclusively poor, rescued animals, which now enjoy the best care on 100 hectares of pasture land and in spacious stables.
