Itinerary:
Day 1: Individual arrival at Prien
Individual arrival at your accommodation in Prien
At check-in you receive your travel documents.
Overnight stay in Prien, Marquartstein or Grassau.
Day 2: Prien – Grassau, approx. 19 km, 6 h, altitude difference á590 m / â586 m
This stage leads through bog forests and the wooded areas above Bernau to Rottau, Kucheln und finally Grassau.

Starting day Friday: 2 nights in Prien | Transfer on day 2 from the stage destination Grassau back to Prien
Starting day Saturday: 2 nights in Grassau | Transfer on day 2 from the overnight location in Grassau to the starting point in Prien
Day 3: Grassau – Ruhpolding, approx. 16 km, 6 h, á997 m / â858 m
After breakfast you will be taken to Bergen. Use the Hochfelln cable car (payment on spot) to reach the Hochfelln summit, a magnificent spot overlooking Lake Chiemsee and the surroundings. The trail leads through typical Alpine area with dwarf pines, large mountain pastures and light forest down the mountain side. You pass Felln-Alm and Farnböden-Alm, circumvent Mount Reitstein and reach the enchanted forest near Brand, with its fantastical caves and grottos. You finish the stage at Ruhpolding.

Day 4: Ruhpolding – Innzell, approx. 15 km, 5 h, á609 m / â576 m
At the outskirt of Ruhpolding you come to wild-romantic Lake Taubensee. Through mountain forests you continue to the Fahrriesboden chapel and Schmelz. It is only a stone’s throw from here to the finish in Innzell.

Day 5: Innzell – Bad Reichenhall, approx. 22 km, 6 h, á678 m / â900 m
This tremendously varied, but also demanding stage first leads to the magnificent Weissenbach falls. You follow the Weissenbach river most of the way to Lake Thumsee. From the Bürgermeisterhohe you have a nice view of the spa and salt town Bad Reichenhall before descending to your hotel.

Day 6: Bad Reichenhall – Bischofswiesen, approx. 16 km, 5-6 h, á696 m / â556 m
Today you walk mostly in the forests at the foot of Bad Reichenhall’s landmark mountain, the Predigtstuhl. You cross the Schwarzgraben and Frechenbach creek and follow the Bischofswieser Ache to Bischofswiesen.

Day 7: Bischofswiesen – Ramsau, approx. 19 km, 6 h, á721 m / â682 m
This is another very varied stage with tranquil river paths and Alpine pastures leading straight through a nature reserve. You are getting close now to some of the highest peaks of Germany, which come into view as you approach Ramsau.

Day 8: Ramsau – Königssee, approx. 17 km, 7-8 h, á1178 m / â1220 m
This stage begins with a short hike along the northern shore of Ramsauer Achen. Sob montane of Geröll mountain (1162m) and Söldenköpfl mountain (1022m), follow the old brine trail in the direction of Engedey. In the bird sanctuary above Ramsau, you´ll have a beautiful view, which is your reward for the effort. From Engedey you start the descent on Mount Grünstein, a famous panorama mountain in the Berchtesgardener alps, which can also be scaled via fixed rope routes. On logging roads and forest paths via serpentines you´ll achieve the Grünsteinhut, from up there you´ll again have a stunning view on the Berchtesgardener landscape. Hike along the “Weissen-Wend” downhill to the valley and after a varied hike you´ll reach Schönau and the famous Alpine lake Konigssee.

Day 9: Transfer from Berchtesgaden to Prien and individual departure.

The parking place does not always situate next to the accommodation but on a public parking place. (free public parking available)

Dogs are allowed in the accommodations on request, often for a small fee. Extra costs have to be paid on spot.

- from 29 days till 15 days of travel start: 50 %
- from 14 days till 8 days of travel start: 70 %
- from 07 days till 3 days of travel start: 85 %
- from the 2nd day to travel start until the day of arrival or in case of non-arrival: 90 % of the travel price
- there is no refund on unused services in case of cancellation of travel
