Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in the spa town of Bad Ischl
Arrival by car or by train/public bus in Bad Ischl. Visit our service center to receive more information on the cross-country runs, the region and enjoy a welcome schnapps.
Overnight stay in Bad Ischl.
Day 2: ‚Snow hole‘ Rettenbachalm
Introduction to the region of Bad Ischl – visit the European Cup run at the Rettenbachalm (up to 10 kilometres of trails for all levels) in Bad Ischl. Taxi transfer forth and back to Rettenbachalm (or take your own car)
Rettenbachalm, home to the Bad Ischl Cross Country Skiing Centre, is one of the largest low alms (Alpine Pastures) in the Salzkammergut. The largely flat alm lies high above Bad Ischl surrounded by imposing mountain peaks, giving it a wonderful feeling of quiet stillness.
Afterwards relax at the Salzkammergut Thermal Spa at the Eurothermen Resort in Bad Ischl.

Day 3: ‚Panorama Nova’ - High-altitude trail over Bad Goisern
Bad Goisern „Panorama Nova“ run – slopes at Predigstuhl:
Transfer from Bad Ischl to Bad Goisern directly up to Predigstuhl (luggage transfer to hotel in Bad Goisern) or travel with your own car (you have to take your own luggage with you) in the morning.
Total of 27km of cross-country runs – 2 sections of this trail are easy, 2 sections are medium and 5km are challenging – the „World Cup Cross-Country Run“ is perfect for the experienced skiers! Taxi transfer from Predigstuhl to accommodation or take your own car.

Day 4: Cross-country skiing in the Gosau Valley:
Free ski bus to cross-country ski runs in Gosau.
There are cross-country runs in different levels of difficulty throughout the whole Gosau valley. Beginners and advanced cross-county skiers will all find a suitable trail. Enjoy the sunny runs in the beautiful winter landscape off the ski slopes.
